Submitting
Student Drawn Pictures

Thanks
for your interest in submitting students' pictures. In order for us to show your pictures on a web page you
must follow these submission guidelines. By
following these guidelines, your class can submit up to 30
pictures. Each class will have a separate web page identified by
class, school, city, and state. (We have unlimited web space, we
might as well use it.)
Guidelines:
1.
Student pictures should be scanned or digitally photographed and
saved as jpeg (.jpg) files, which is a digital photo file format.
Save the photo using the student's first name (e.g. danny.jpg). 2.
The photos should be cropped so that there is no border around the student's picture. 3.
The photos must be resized to a portrait size of approximately 130 x 200 pixels,
or landscape size of approximately 200 x 130 pixels. (Importantly, you must crop the
photo first, and then reduce it.) 4.
Send an e-mail to classphotos@fstguide.com
with the teacher's name and current date in the subject heading
(e.g. Ms. Smith 09/10/07).
-
Attach no more than 10 photos to the
e-mail, which may mean you will have to send more than one e-mail.
If the e-mail does not go through your e-mail server, you will need
to attach fewer photos to the e-mail.
-
Include
the following information in the body of each e-mail: Teacher
name, class grade level,
school name, city, and state.
If you're not familiar with cropping and reducing
photos, or e-mail attachments, ask your school IT specialist, or other
computer expert, for help. All of these things are easy to do
once you are shown how. If
you have any non-technical questions (you will have to ask your IT
specialist for technical help) about submitting photos, send your
questions to classphotos@fstguide.com. We
look forward to receiving and displaying your students' pictures. Have fun.
